The Lanna Dog Welfare team wishes you all the best in health, happiness and success for the coming year.

His Majesty the King provided an invaluable New Year gift for both animals and humans in Thailand by signing the first Animal Welfare Bill on December 26^th, 2014, which enables it to be active.

As this bill makes cruelty to animals a criminal offence, it is essential that the general public is made aware of this and the law is then enforced adequately.
